“ I’m from Mobile and have never experienced this restaurant until last night. I was not disappointed at all. It’s such a nice and cozy little spot that has a sweet shop connected. Unfortunately we got there a little too late to enjoy the sweets next door but will be gladly going back for that. My husband and I shared a bowl of seafood gumbo, a shrimp po-boy, and the combination plate with the fried shrimp and crab claws. We left so very full and so very satisfied. Gotta love hearing some BOH banter while enjoying our meal. Go on now, go get that delicious seafood! ”
“ Best blackened shrimp I’ve ever tasted! This place is definitely worth a few return visits! Reasonably priced, service excellent & in a near area near the bay. ”
“ We had the most awesome seafood. I had the seafood platter and my friend had the fried shrimp. We used to eat at the Catalina years ago and loved it. It is still the very best seafood we have eaten. You cannot find a restaurant that serves fresh seafood anymore but the Catalina is the exception. We will definitely be back! ”
“ Great place folks are friendly and the food is great. Would recommend for sure. ”
“ We decided to take a little trip over to Bayou LA Batre. We happened upon a nice seafood establishment called Catalina Restaurant so we stopped there for lunch. We enjoyed their raw oysters, fried oysters, Hurricane shrimp, popcorn shrimp and fantail shrimp. Everything was so good. Our server was fast, attentive and really nice. ”
